Your liquidation price is public. Make it drift.

Driftband splits one leveraged position into slices held by accounts that share no history, each on its own margin. Trackers stop seeing a whale with one price worth pushing into. They see a few ordinary traders and a band of levels spread across the chart.

A big position comes with a public target.

On a public perps or lending venue, anyone can read a wallet's size, its leverage and the exact price that wipes it out. Dashboards repost it the moment it changes.

Once a level is known, it turns into a meeting point. Hunters push price toward it, copy-traders trade around it, and the person holding it has to defend it where everyone can watch.

Driftband changes what the dashboards can show, without asking you to give up the liquidity you came for.

From one position to a band, in four moves.

You trade the market you picked. Driftband handles how the position is held, funded and placed, so nothing public adds back up to you.

  1. Sign once in your browser

One signature creates fresh slice accounts with no history. Their keys are encrypted on your device and never reach our servers.

  2. Fund each slice on its own path

Every account is funded separately, so no deposit points back to your main wallet or to the other slices.

  3. Open on a jittered schedule

Slices go out at random times and sizes, each one small enough to pass under whale-alert filters.

  4. Guard the closest level first

The risk monitor watches the slice nearest to liquidation and tops it up or trims it. Funds never move straight from one slice to another.

Clear about the cover. Clear about the gaps.

Privacy tools that overpromise get people hurt. Here is what Driftband changes, and what it leaves exactly as it was.

What dashboards lose

  • Your total sizeThey see slices sized under common alert levels, not one large position.
  • Your liquidation priceSlices break at different prices, so there is a band instead of one line.
  • The link between slicesFresh accounts with no shared history, funded separately.
  • The link to your main walletNo deposit runs from the wallet you hold assets in to a slice.

What stays visible

  • The venue sees its own accountsDriftband hides positions from public trackers, not from the exchange running them.
  • Timing can still be studiedJitter and fresh accounts make clustering harder. A patient analyst can still try.
  • Big orders still move priceSplitting hides who holds the position, not the market impact of trading it.
  • Privacy costs a littleMore fills and more accounts add fees and gas. The planner shows them before you commit.
  • Fee codes can mark fillsWhere a fee is taken through a venue's builder code, a fill can be seen as a Driftband fill. Your cover is then every Driftband user.

Where Driftband fits.

Most privacy tools in crypto hide who you are or what you moved. None of them change what an open position shows on a public venue.

Questions people ask first.

Something missing? Ask us on X at @driftbandxyz.

What does Driftband actually do?

It takes one leveraged position you want to open and holds it as several smaller positions in separate accounts, each with different margin. Public dashboards see ordinary-sized accounts with scattered liquidation prices, and your app shows you the whole position in one view.

Do I have to move to a new exchange?

No. Driftband sits on top of the venues you already trade, starting with Hyperliquid. You keep their order books, their markets and their liquidity.

Is the demo using real money?

No. The demo plans positions and runs them in a paper book on live Hyperliquid prices. Nothing is sent to a venue, and no funds are needed.

Who holds my keys and funds?

You do. Slice account keys are created and encrypted in your browser. Driftband's servers never see a key, never sign an order and never hold funds.

Can the exchange see my slices?

Yes. A venue always knows its own accounts. Driftband hides your position from public trackers, analysts and copy-traders, not from the venue itself.

Could someone still connect my slices?

It gets much harder, not impossible. Timing patterns are the main risk, which is why the planner shows a linkability score and tells you what to change to lower it.

What does it cost?

A small fee on the notional you route, published before live trading opens, plus the extra venue fees and gas that more accounts create. Every plan shows the full cost before you confirm. $DBAND holders pay less.

When does live trading open?

After the token launch, starting with Hyperliquid. Lending markets and more perps venues follow in later phases.

Stop handing hunters a target.

Plan your first split in the demo. It takes a minute and needs no funds.
